Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Governing body of New Pally Mangal Samity as Chief Functionary and General Secretary, I am happy to present our Annual Report for the year 2018-19. You must know that the Samity has started its journey in the year 1948 but in the year 1980 a group of educated, energetic, enthusiastic youth who were concentrated and committed to the growth & development in the area with multidimensional activities. Our organization got registered under West Bengal Society Registration Act 1961 and in due course of time, we also got registration under FCRA. We re-organized and started to tap local resources for different short term programmes with great vision.
1) To create healthy and cordial relationship among the villagers. No progress is possible without co-operation of community.
2) To uplift the downtrodden people. A community can not develop avoiding a group of people.
3) Education, Health & Social Security for all which is the fundamental right for a civilization.
2018-19 has been a year of growth and commitment for sustainable development according to needs and wants of our rural community. Though we have started our journey volunteered charity to the deprived or marginalized but now continued support for their basic needs for strengthen, fight back against the odds and better future.
I offer my profound gratitude to our volunteers & GB Members who almost with no or meager honorarium at their behest continued their labor (Physically & Mentally) to rural development. A well convinced planning process continued to function with a strong and vigorous team behind it, enabling access to different types of awareness programmes, vocational trainings, games and sports, cultural activities, a healthy and hygienic life and therefore a better future. We are very happy to bring women from cultural activities to social activities. Already initiatives vocational trainings, awareness programmes, formed self-help groups. In fact, women are backbone of any family as well as community. So their empowerment in the changing scenario is much pivotal.
A sincere thanks to all our beneficiaries, associates, volunteers and partners like Panchayet, Block level officials, companies, state govt., central govt., donors and well wishers who have made our journey possible. I continue to seek your kind support and encouragement to achieve the goal.
Come, let us walk together to form a divine human community. The victory is sure to come.
